Topic: Body Image and Self-Esteem Your textbook states that body image—how a person believes he/she looks—begins to be important in early childhood, especially for girls (Papalia et al., 2011). It has been suggested that the media plays a significant part in perpetuating the desire to be thin. What are your thoughts? How would you apply biblical principles to address this issue with your children?
