A male client isspeaking to a therapist at her office. He doesn’t want to be there but his 86year old mother made him go get therapy. His mother nags him all the time. Hedoesn’t have friends or a girlfriend. His place is a mess and he doesn’t takecare of himself. He says he has no interest in having a relationship with awoman. He doesn’t want friends. His mother is the only person he associateswith. He has nothing to do with his sister or his father. When he was youngerhis father would go outside and scream at him for no reason which chased offhis friends from playing with him. His father was verbally abusive.
